PAW Patrol 3 is currently in the works, with Spin Master Entertainment, Nickelodeon, and Paramount behind the project, following the success of the second movie. The show, which first aired on Nick Jr. in 2013, has since become a global hit. After the first PAW Patrol movie debuted in 2021, the superhero-themed sequel, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, followed in 2023. Now, fans can look forward to the third installment, continuing the exciting adventures of Chase, Marshall, Skye, and the rest of the PAW Patrol team.
The announcement of the next PAW Patrol movie came during the successful run of The Mighty Movie, with the studios eager to capitalize on its popularity. PAW Patrol 3 will continue the storyline from the movies, which features its own voice cast, a more complex plot compared to the original Nick Jr. series, and new characters like Delores, a poodle voiced by Kim Kardashian in the previous film. While specific plot details are still under wraps, it’s clear that PAW Patrol 3 will be another high-budget, box-office hit that younger audiences will be excited to watch.

What Could the Story of PAW Patrol 3 Be?
The storyline for PAW Patrol 3 is still under wraps, but director Cal Brunker has plenty of inspiration from the original series and spin-offs like Rubble & Crew. In the second movie, the pups gained superpowers, much like the Mighty Pups arc from the TV show. It’s possible PAW Patrol 3 will build on that, or the movie might go in a different direction, focusing on a more realistic story where the pups lose their powers.
The plot of PAW Patrol 3 is still under wraps, but there’s plenty of room for new characters to make their way into the movie. Characters like Everest, the mountain-rescue husky, and Tracker, the jungle-expert chihuahua, haven’t appeared yet in the movie universe. It’s possible that PAW Patrol 3 could introduce them as part of the story.
Expected Release Date for PAW Patrol 3
Paramount’s confidence in the PAW Patrol franchise is clear, as they revealed the sequel before the second movie even hit theaters, and set a release date well over two years in advance. Although fans will have to wait a while, PAW Patrol 3 is currently scheduled to arrive on July 31, 2026. While the date could shift as time goes on, it’s likely the film will face little competition when it finally debuts.
